Sandridge Golf Club.
Sandridge Golf Club is under the control and ownership of the Indian River County. It is a public facility that was opened in the late 80s and early 90s. Their two courses both have several natural landscapes and feature challenging and scenic holes. This club has been rated one of the state’s best values by national golf magazines. Because of its popularity, you need to book in advance if you want to visit.
Turkey Creek Sanctuary.
The Turkey Creek Sanctuary is more than 100 acres of land. This sanctuary is located on Port Malabar Boulevard NE, nearby Palm Bay. The old oaks, palmettos and nice dunes make the area more beautiful! Its amenities include a boardwalk that extends about three-quarters of a mile and biking and walking trails. Admission here is not expensive so go for it!
Heathcote Botanical Gardens.
Heathcote Botanical Gardens have been around for more than three decades. It is well known for being the home of the largest public bonsai garden that characterized Japanese-themed elements. So, for everyone who loves all things natural and beautiful, you can find the Heathcote Botanical Gardens on Savannah Road in Fort Pierce. Dogs on leash are welcome too!
