Indian River Bird & Nature Art Show

This multi-day and juried art show is also a celebration of National Wildlife Refuge Week. The Indian River Bird & Nature Art Show features bird and nature-themed art, speaker presentations, a wine and cheese sunset boat cruise to the famous Pelican Island, lectures, local birding tours, and an outdoor nature art show that paints out.

Artwork entered in the show will be displayed and judged by Sebastian River Chamber o Commerce Executive Director Beth Mitchell, Vero Beach Art Club artist Lizdeil Ramos-Hering and Indian River Lagoon Project Communications Director Kathy Hill & enjoyed by the public. The artwork can be bought during the event or later at the Sebastian River Art Club.

This event is held during the fall at Environmental Learning Canter in Vero Beach (the previous location of the event was at the Sebastian River Art Club). ELC is a 60+ acre lagoon island preserve with nature trails, a boardwalk, air-conditioned classrooms, a native plant garden, and more. The event’s new location offers new activities like watching owls, flying squirrels, bats, and frogs. Nighttime walks around the ELC lands for wildlife viewing are also very popular.
