Sebastian Brewfest

This annual event is hosted by the Rotary Club of Sebastian -the same association that hosts the Shrimpfest-and it keeps getting bigger every year. Sebastian’s Brewfest features live music, breweries, cideries (sometimes wineries), food trucks, games, and many other things. The main goal of this event is to raise money and give it back to the Sebastian City Parks and Rec, scholarships and local nonprofits, and local schools and clubs.

This event is usually hosted on Indian River Drive at Riverview Park. No children or pets are allowed, except for service animals, which must carry proper identification. And you have to be over 21 years of age to enter this event.

All proceeds from the Brewfest will be donated to a selected nonprofit beneficiary, charitable efforts, and Sebastian’s Riverview Park. The 2022 beneficiary of the Brewfest was H.A.L.O. No-Kill Rescue Shelter, an organization that protects and saves homeless pets from neglect and abuse. The Brewfest also collects toys for tots from Brewer’s homebrew club. You may bring a toy or make a small donation, and in return, you’ll receive a koozie for your tasting glass.

The Rotary Club of Sebastian hosts different fundraisers throughout the year, like the Shrimpfest (also known as River Days), Brewfest, Golf outgoing, etc., that raise around $75,000 annually that goes back to the Sebastian community through college scholarships, schools, back to school backpack program, athletic teams, Sebastian little three gree libraries, the Sebastian police COPE unit, the Linus project, the Rotary Riverfront memorial boardwalks, and other Sebastian’s programs that help nonprofit organizations.
