Besides the best garlic crabs in town, The Crab Stop serves tons of seafood dishes such as King Crab Special (King crab legs, jumbo shrimps, corn cobettes, and potatoes), Robbie Special (clusters of snow crabs, jumbo shrimps, potatoes, and corn cobettes), and Fried Shrimp Dinner (lightly batter and fried jumbo shrimp with coleslaw and french fries/garlic potatoes)
The Crab Stop started as a near tragedy and became a blessing by owners Ellis and Brandy Buckner. Ellis was forced to retire from his previous job as a paramedic/fireman after suffering a cardiac that led him to be in a coma for nearly ten days. With these circumstances, the couple began searching for something that they could do together.
One day, the Buckners came across a delicious crab lunch in Daytona Beach, which began the discussion that inspired them to open a franchise location. They embarked on their new path as entrepreneurs and owners and now own two of eight The Crab Stop throughout Florida.
The Crab Stop at Sebastian was their second location, and with a beautiful outdoor patio right across from the river, and an expanded menu, makes it a lovely place to hang out and enjoy a delicious meal.
